Sunset WoW

Sunset WoW is a custom Wrath of the Lich King 3.3.5a server inspired by the old haste and fun servers. Characters start at level 80, combat runs on the server’s own haste system and is built for a fast pace, and progress means farming its own gear and weapons. Worgen and Goblins are playable races. Its bosses and encounters include Battle Angel, Garrosh Hellscream and a custom Lich King, and there are world bosses of its own to take on with a group. The Lich King drops armor parts that you trade for cosmetic pieces of his armor. For your look there are transmog collections and custom armor appearances, mounts, weapons and wings. The server also has custom vendors and a Main Mall. The Magic Stone is its teleporter, with destinations, events and character services in one place. The Halloween event of 2026 added two dungeons. One of them, Haunted Harvest Keep, is a level 80 dungeon for up to five players with four bosses of 200 million health each. The team lists both PvP and PvE among its features, and the website ranks players by honorable kills. The realm opened to everyone as an alpha on 18 September 2026 and moved to open beta on 16 October 2026. The website does not say whether characters will be wiped after the beta, and the team asks players to report bugs and balance problems with an in-game ticket or on Discord. Five qualifying referrals earn a Void Storm Drake and ten earn permanent VIP, with the conditions posted on Discord. The website has a donation store paid with PayPal or Stripe, but you have to log in to see what it sells. To play, you need a 3.3.5a client (build 12340) and an account from the website. The Sunset launcher adds about 6 GiB of custom content to the client and keeps it updated, and the realmlist is sunset-wow.org. The website gives its times in Sofia time (EET), and on 30 October 2026 the Discord had 48 members.
