Ashen WoW launches a Blizzlike x1 Vanilla realm with a two-year content plan

Ashen WoW opened its Vanilla realm on Saturday 6 September 2025. It runs patch 1.12.1 at x1 rates, and the team plans to release content progressively over two years, starting from patch 1.2 and running until 2027. The plan covers all the original content, from Molten Core to Naxxramas, plus world PvP.

The project is built around reliving World of Warcraft as it was in 2004, and its policy is strictly Blizzlike: no boosts, no pay-to-win, no shortcuts, no cash shops and no changes. Everything has to be earned in-game. The server has DDoS protection and active Game Masters, and the project runs a Discord server.
