Gemstone WoW moves from Blizzlike to 2x experience

Gemstone WoW is no longer a Blizzlike-rate server. On 12 March 2026 it changed its rates:

• Kill and quest experience: 2x
• Exploration experience: 1.5x
• Rested bonus cap: 2x
• Reputation and gold: 1.5x
• Gathering skills 2x, crafting 1.5x
• Item drops, honor and arena points: unchanged

A day earlier, the server’s post on Reddit still advertised 1x rates.

The same patch added German translations, fixed a batch of class bugs and worked on Ulduar, the Deadmines and the Culling of Stratholme.

Hearthstone every 30 minutes

On 27 March the Hearthstone cooldown dropped from 60 to 30 minutes. That update also fixed a potion cooldown bug and loot and engage problems with Malygos in the Eye of Eternity, and added NPC translations in eight languages.
