Gemstone WoW removes crafting cooldowns in a 150-change patch led by Ulduar

Gemstone WoW wrapped up three weeks of work with a maintenance on 17 August 2026. The notes count roughly 150 changes, and Ulduar took the largest share by far.

Ulduar

• Yogg-Saron: Death Ray reworked, and Sara no longer opens phase two with Malady, Brain Link and Death Ray all at once
• Freya: the trio revive rebuilt, and the hard mode intro restored
• Mimiron, Hodir and Thorim: big script reworks
• Fixes for General Vezax, XT-002 Deconstructor, Kologarn and the Iron Ring trash

No more crafting cooldowns

The long daily cooldowns on crafting recipes are gone, so transmutes and cloth no longer limit how much you can craft. The Dalaran Jewelcrafter’s Token daily now gives five tokens, and the Thunderlord Clan Artifact drop chance went up to 10%.

Crashes and other fixes

• A Gluth crash in Naxxramas, and a crash when Sweeping Strikes hit an Execute
• The Tribunal of Ages in Halls of Stone rewritten
• The world events Call to Arms and What the Cold Wind Brings added
