InfernoWoW adds a Priest smite spec, a Shaman tank spec and a Black Market

InfernoWoW had a busy spring. Its update on Reddit on 4 May 2026 and the news on its new website list these changes since November.

Two new fourth specs

  • Inquisition for Priests, announced on 5 April: a Holy caster damage spec built on burst damage, utility and crowd control, with its own spell tree. The team calls it the true smite spec players kept asking for
  • Earth Warden for Shamans: a tank spec

Much more besides

  • Five new arena maps, and Twin Peaks and Battle for Gilneas as new battlegrounds (23 March)
  • New race and class combinations: human and undead hunters, dwarf shamans and tauren paladins
  • A big rework of Beast Mastery, which can now tame every exotic pet in Azeroth, plus one new one
  • Higher mana costs on spells healers spam, so that mana matters again
  • Ancestor's Guidance, an optional experience bonus for each max-level character on your account
  • A buyback vendor that keeps the last 50 items you sold, at a 10% markup
  • A new website (26 April) with a talent calculator, live player count and changelog

The Black Market and bank crafting

On 6 May the Black Market Auction House opened, with 1 to 6 auctions at a time that last three days each. It offers mounts, titles, transmogs and other secret goodies, but no gear and nothing game-breaking. Each bid has to beat the current price by at least 10 gold, and if someone outbids you, your gold comes back by mail.

On 11 May crafting started counting the materials in your bank while you are in a capital city. It is experimental, and it does not work with Create All when you queue a large batch.

Still not released

The team wrote in May that release is still quite far off. The realm you can log into is the development server, as the owner explained to a player on Reddit in August.
