InfernoWoW opens the Ring of Law, a wave-based PvE arena with leaderboards

InfernoWoW opened the Ring of Law on 16 March 2026, a repeatable PvE challenge in which your group fights wave after wave for a score. You start a run with the event NPC at Thorium Point in Searing Gorge. From then on your group is locked in, and nobody else can enter until you end the run or your group is defeated.
Four modes
- Regular: each wave is its own round, with a reset between waves
- Rapid Fire: waves follow almost at once, with no mana or cooldown reset. Your group gets 5 lives, then sudden death, where the next death ends the run
- Regular Easy and Rapid Fire Easy: the same formats with lighter tuning
Affixes and scores
Affixes are rolled again every wave from different pools. Before a run you can ban one affix, at the cost of a score penalty at the end. Your score grows with how long you survive, how many waves you clear and how deep into the event you kill enemies. Every mode has its own leaderboard with personal and server bests, and each entry shows the group that set it.
In its May update the team described the Ring of Law as an endless endgame mode for five players, "extremely challenging", with achievements and titles to earn.
A week later, on 23 March, two downported Cataclysm battlegrounds joined the server: Battle for Gilneas from level 30 and Twin Peaks from level 40.
