Kronos V launched on Saturday, 9 May 2026, giving Vanilla players a fresh, blizzlike x1 PvP realm at a moment when Turtle WoW and Stormforge were days away from closing. The realm runs the 1.12 client and follows TwinStar's long-standing approach of time-gated, patch-by-patch content with no custom systems.
Kronos' roadmap scheduled Molten Core and Onyxia for July 2026, followed by Azuregos, Kazzak and Dire Maul in September and the Elemental Invasion in October. Blackwing Lair is planned for December 2026 and the timeline runs through Zul'Gurub, Ahn'Qiraj and finally Naxxramas in March 2028.
On 3 July 2026 the team also introduced localisation, enabling Korean, French, German, Spanish and Chinese across the 1.12 and 1.14 clients.
With the biggest Classic+ servers shutting down in May, Kronos V, Greyhaven (August) and other blizzlike or lightly modified Vanilla realms became the main destinations for players looking for a fresh start in 2026.
