Lighthaven opens a WotLK realm with 2,000 PlayerBots

Lighthaven, a Wrath of the Lich King realm built on AzerothCore, went public on 28 May 2026 with a post on Reddit. Its operator had started building it in the week of 11 May. The realm was fully progressed from the first day: Naxxramas through Icecrown Citadel, every battleground and every arena season.

Rates you set yourself

Each character sets its own multipliers with one chat command: XP up to x100, loot up to x10, and money and reputation up to x100. "Crank XP for an evening to catch your friend, drop back to x1 when you're with them," the launch post suggested.

Bots in every bracket

About 2,000 PlayerBots are spread across all nine level brackets with a realistic mix of classes and specs, so a level 30 character finds level 30 bots to run dungeons with. You can hire them as followers, queue for dungeons, battlegrounds and arenas with them, or raid with them.

Also at launch

  • About 30 quality-of-life modules, all off until you switch them on for a character
  • The Adventure Assistant, summoned anywhere with .aa, which works as vendor, banker, mailbox, auctioneer, transmogrifier and profession trainer
  • Self-service quest tools: complete a stuck objective, claim a missing reward or redo a quest, in game or on the website, without a GM ticket
  • Bots that chat in nine languages through an AI model which, according to the post, runs on the realm's own hardware and also watches the public channels for harassment
  • The stock 3.3.5a client, with no required patches or addons

Lighthaven is a one-person, self-funded project on a dedicated OVH server in France. It has no shop, no donations and no Discord, and its code is open source. "Won't disappear next month - the box is paid for the year," the post said. To connect, set realmlist lighthaven.quest.
