Maelstrom opens on Millenium Servers as a progressive WotLK realm starting at level 19

Millenium - Maelstrom opened on 9 June 2026. It is a new progressive realm from Millenium Servers on the Wrath of the Lich King 3.3.5a client, and it starts with a level cap of 19.

The plan

The team's announcement lays out a long road. The level cap goes up one bracket at a time, from 19 to 29, 39, 49 and 59, before level 60 brings the Classic raids. The Burning Crusade comes after that, "when the community is ready, the Dark Portal opens", and Wrath of the Lich King follows.

Name reservation opened on 8 June, the day before the realm went live.

The team says there is no pay-to-win: "the shop offers cosmetic items only to cover server costs."
