Maelstrom unlocks level 60 and sets Molten Core for 25 September

Millenium - Maelstrom unlocked level 60 on 29 August 2026 at 16:00 UTC. The realm opened on 9 June with a level cap of 19 and has raised it bracket by bracket since.

From 19 to 60

• 9 June: launch at level 19
• 19 June: level 29
• 27 June: transmog, a 1v1 arena, and Draenei and Blood Elves as playable races
• Mid-July: level 39, with Uldaman, Razorfen Downs and Scarlet Monastery
• 1 August: level 49, followed by a 10-player Scarlet Monastery raid
• 21 August: level 59
• 29 August: level 60

The realm's own board of realm firsts shows the first level 60s arriving a minute after the unlock.

Raid dates

The team set Molten Core for 25 September and Onyxia's Lair for 2 October.

To help new players catch up, experience from level 1 to 50 can go up to x5 for now. Talent resets are free until The Burning Crusade, Dual Spec costs 10 gold, and the random dungeon finder can start a group with three players.
