Millenium - Maelstrom

Maelstrom is the progressive realm of Millenium Servers, not to be confused with Whitemane's Cataclysm realm of the same name. It runs on the Wrath of the Lich King 3.3.5a client but plays the game in order: Vanilla first, then The Burning Crusade, then Wrath. The realm opened on 9 June 2026 with a level cap of 19 and raised it bracket by bracket until level 60 opened on 29 August. Molten Core followed on 25 September and Onyxia's Lair on 2 October, with Blackwing Lair, Zul'Gurub, Ahn'Qiraj and Naxxramas still to come. The 40-player raids are tuned for 20 players and reset every five days. Players choose their own experience rate, up to x3 in the early brackets, and a temporary x5 catch-up covers levels 1 to 50. Crafting is x2 and gathering x1. The team keeps the game close to blizzlike and adds quality-of-life changes: a first mount at level 20 for 1g, dual spec from level 20, free talent resets until TBC and a Dungeon Finder that starts with three players. There are also transmogrification, a 1v1 arena, an upgraded Scarlet Monastery raid and an anti-cheat of its own, MaelstromGuard. Players come from Europe, North America and Oceania, and the standard 3.3.5a client works. According to the team, the optional shop sells cosmetics and mounts, never gear or power.
