Season of the Crusade opens AQ20 for ten players and Caverns of Time dungeons at level 60

Season of the Crusade, the Vanilla server with Burning Crusade class balance, announced a large update for 4 August 2026.

What it adds

• The Ruins of Ahn'Qiraj (AQ20), scaled for 10 players
• The Emerald Dragons, with sockets added to their loot
• The Caverns of Time dungeons at level 60, scaled to their Heroic versions but without a daily lockout, and Burning Crusade dungeon trinkets on their final bosses
• Dungeon 2 sets (Tier 0.5) from a vendor
• Darkmoon Card Aces from The Burning Crusade with a 2% drop chance, and pre-cut epic gems
• A new level 60 daily quest area at Northwatch Hold

The Call of the Crusade experience buff goes from +50% to +500%, so that players can catch up and see the changes before the Temple of Ahn'Qiraj (AQ40) opens. The owner says the server's scope has grown to "include a lot more custom content in an attempt to fill the gap that Project Epoch left behind". A Timbermaw raid in Azshara is in the works.

Since May, all major raids on the server have been tuned for 10 players, down from 25, to suit the smaller population.
