About Faebright

Faebright is an English-speaking roleplay server with PvE rules that plays The Burning Crusade on the 3.3.5a client. It aims to be an expanded Burning Crusade that keeps the quality-of-life features Wrath added, and it releases content in phases: in July 2026 it was in TBC Phase 1. You get 71 talent points at level 70 and Wrath's glyphs, and an NPC called Glitterwing in your starting zone offers a free boost to level 58, so you can go straight to Outland. If you would rather level the long way, there are five optional challenges: Hardcore, Semi-Hardcore, War Mode, Questwalker and the Slow Path. All of them except War Mode have to be picked at level 1. Dungeons have a Pretend scaling mode, and transmog has no restrictions. Cosmetics are a big part of the server, with custom skins such as Mag'har orcs and forest trolls, illusions bought with gold, and a custom currency called Brightberry that you trade for cosmetics and toys from the old trading card game. Players run weekly raids, daily arenas and roleplay events. There is no cash shop. The launcher, client and addon pack are downloaded after you log in on the website. Plans include level 60 Onyxia and the original Naxxramas.
