Crusader-Storm

Crusader-Storm is a Burning Crusade server that keeps close to the original game and adds quality-of-life changes. It runs on the CMaNGOS core, and you can play with the 2.4.3 client or the server's own 2.5.3 Classic client, which also has a build for Apple Silicon Macs. The realm launched fresh on 3 January 2026 and opens content in phases: it started as a level 60 pre-patch, Outland opened on 7 February, Karazhan, Gruul's Lair and Magtheridon's Lair on 4 April, and Phase 2 brought Serpentshrine Cavern and Tempest Keep on 4 July 2026. The team plans to go up to Phase 5 and the Sunwell. Experience is x1 by default for levels 1 to 58 and can be raised to x2 or x3 with the .xp command, while 58 to 70 stays at x1. It is a PvE realm where you can turn on PvP with /pvp, and Horde and Alliance can group, trade, send mail and join the same guilds, with one shared Auction House. Training and riding cost half the usual price, a vendor saves up to three talent specs for 5 gold, mounts go into the spellbook, and server achievements are tracked with an in-game addon. The team says there is no cash shop and nothing pay-to-win. The community speaks English.
