Whitemane - Sunwell

Sunwell is the Burning Crusade realm that Whitemane, the network behind Frostmourne, Gilneas and Maelstrom, announces as coming in 2026; no date has been set and no beta has been announced. Unlike most TBC private servers it will run only on the Burning Crusade Classic client (patch 2.5.2) from Whitemane's launcher, with support for Classic addons. All rates are x1 except experience, which is x3 through a permanent Joyous Journeys buff from level 1 to 70. Attunements stay in place for Karazhan, Serpentshrine Cavern and Tempest Keep, heroic keys need Revered reputation, and Tier 4 and 5 raids open with PvP Season 1 at least two weeks after launch, with the Netherwing, Ogri'la and Skyguard dailies following later. Raids, dungeons, guilds and chat are cross-faction. Other changes include dual specialization, transmogrification, Racial Shift, short-term trading of bind-on-pickup loot, cooldown resets after every boss kill or wipe, arena flushes twice a week, PvP queues from anywhere and raid logs. The community is English-speaking. Whitemane is free to play and funded by a store and the Whitemane+ subscription; Sunwell's store offers are not yet published.
