Gadgetzan opens Firelands with pre-nerf boss health

Athenas WoW - Gadgetzan opened Firelands on 29 August 2026 at 6 pm Colombia time, which was 23:00 UTC. The team announced the opening the night before on its YouTube channel, along with special events for the new phase.

Firelands is phase 3 of the realm's roadmap, Rage of the Firelands (patch 4.2). The phase covers the Molten Front daily quest zone, PvP Season 10 and the Tier 12 raid, and the roadmap now marks Firelands as available in both normal and heroic.

Pre-nerf Firelands

Firelands runs in its pre-nerf version, which undoes the hotfixes that later made the raid easier. Every boss has its original health back, 15 to 20% more depending on the boss and difficulty, adds have about 17.6% more health, and boss damage spells are back at their original values. Majordomo Staghelm, for example, has 432.1 million health in 25 player heroic. The Tier 11 raids went the other way and switched to their nerfed versions in July.

By early October the roadmap also marked phase 4, Hour of Twilight with Dragon Soul in normal and heroic, as available. The team has not published the date it opened.
