Proudmoore moves its Cataclysm launch to 13 September

Proudmoore, the upcoming Cataclysm server, will now launch on Saturday 13 September 2025. The team announced the new date after extensive community feedback, saying the delay is to avoid "cutting corners or rushing something half-baked" and to implement community suggestions. It also thanked the community for its patience and active feedback.

The public test realm (PTR) is still scheduled for June 2025, and the team will share a detailed roadmap when it goes live.

New features planned for the extra development time include revamped PvP levelling, an expanded Mythic+ system with affixes, an optional HD client and a cosmetic progression system that runs on a free currency you earn in game. A Hardcore mode is possible, and the team will also fix long-standing bugs from its core.
