Proudmoore Launch Date Moved to September 13th

The team behind the upcoming Cataclysm server Proudmoore has officially announced an updated launch schedule in response to extensive community feedback.

New Launch Date

The server's launch has been moved to Saturday, September 13th, 2025.

In the announcement, the team explained the delay is to avoid "cutting corners or rushing something half-baked" and to implement suggestions from the community. They are focused on delivering a server that meets high-quality standards.

PTR and New Features

A Public Test Realm (PTR) is still scheduled to launch this month (June 2025). A detailed roadmap will be shared when the PTR drops.

During this extended development time, the team will be adding several new features, including:

• Revamped PvP Leveling
• An expanded Mythic+ System with Affixes
• An optional HD Client
• A cosmetic/vanity progression system using a free, earnable in-game currency
• A possible Hardcore mode
• Fixes for long-standing bugs from their core.
